I recently (five minutes ago) found out that one of my favorite books, "The Road", by Cormac McCarthy, is being released as a feature film in mid-October. If you haven't read this book, or any of McCarthy's other work, I highly suggest it... he is no doubt one of the best contemporary writers working today. Check out the trailer:
October will be a great month, not only because of this, but because of the upcoming run at Giants Stadium for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. They will be doing a sort of farewell kick off for the stadium, as it's final season is looming! Might still be able to get tickets for the 8th of October, but I will be tail-gating all day on the 9th!
